Take-away cha wan mushi?!

When we had dinner with Miwa in Tokyo last year, we asked what she missed the most about Melbourne. It was the Deluxe California Rolls from Suzeran... yep, a native Japanese missing an Aussie sushi, go figure!

Hence, we were here to fulfil Miwa's craving for the Deluxe California Rolls. We also browsed through the store, and found lots of tidbits, probably too many. Then, we noticed on the counter small bowls of cha wan mushi. After a sneak peak, we could not resist the temptation and bought three home.

Needless to say, our dinner was a feast of delicacies.
We started with our take-away cha wan mushi, yum!

We also had some side-dishes that were delicious... I also learned to make miso soup the Japanese way... but next time!
